Hey everybody!
I'm Alex, 20, and this is my very first post! I have long wanted to create a blog, online personal diary-alike, with a concept that accompanies my life for the past few years, to Fly Without Wings. And here I am, finally introducing it to you!
So, where did this idea come from? Well..
Some years ago, being a teenager, It was about time for me to start setting goals and building up my life. With all the willpower and aspiration an adolescent can have, I was trying to figure out which road I should walk in and build my own dreams on; though doing so is neither a simple choice nor an easy decision. But first and foremost, I was wondering what I should expect from life, what and why I should fight for in it, what the deeper meaning of this gift is..
One day of my sixteenth, while listening to the music of a then new-to-me band called Westlife, my mind stared at the words of a very special song..
"Everybody is looking for that something, one thing that makes it all complete
You'll find it in the strangest places, places you never knew it could be.."
It was the beautiful ballad "Flying Without Wings".. For me, it is not just a song with beautiful lyrics; it's the song that has managed to inspire me more than anything else in life until today. It means searching to find your inner destiny, to feel the completeness in you, to fulfill your most impossible dream; to find this one special thing, that when you finally hold it, you see thoroughness inside, you feel like flying without wings!..
This song somehow became part of me, creating a whole theory and belief around its meaning behind. As time went by, many thoughts and ideas from various people with different personalities and backgrounds were attached. This chain of viewpoints for all the branches of life eventually structured this blog concept. In the long run, through different kind of posts bringing about food for thought, I hope we all come closer to finding our individual inner secret, that leads each one of us to be a Flier Without Wings..!
Let's fly!
